TINTON FALLS - District 11 state legislators Senator Vin Gopal and Assemblywoman Margie Donlon will hold a Press Conference Monday, July 13, in Asbury Park to discuss their successful legislation to recognize open-water lifeguards as first responders and emergency services providers.

Gopal, Donlon, Life Force USA President Mathew T. Giachetti, and local officials will speak about Senator Gopal’s Senate Resolution, SR72, which recognizes open-water lifeguards as first responders and emergency services providers. Gopal was the prime sponsor of the resolution that the senate approved by voice vote and sent to the secretary of state on July 6.
